Satechi Dual vertical Laptop Stand

This may very well be the quickest review I post. The Satechi Dual vertical Laptop Stand is pretty straightforward, it’s a laptop stand that will also hold a tablet or phone.

Features

  • Dual Slot Design
  • Protective materials within the docks
  • Built from high-grade aluminum
  • Solid base to handle the weight of two vertical devices

What I like about Satechi Dual vertical Laptop Stand

It’s a solid build and it freed up space on my desk. Boom… done!

Ha, but in all seriousness. It is a solid piece of metal with silicon inserts to protect your devices. I don’t worry about my iPad Pro screen leaning against the dock. I haven’t done this but I do like that it has a channel under the main docking area, I will most likely run my USB-C cable for my iPad through there, you know for that all important cable management.

What I don’t like about Satechi Dual vertical Laptop Stand

Given how simple the device is I can’t say I have many dislikes.

I do wish it didn’t have a large Satechi logo on the front, but if you know Satechi, that’s what they do. At least it’s minimum and not crazy loud visually.

Honestly, the one thing I don’t like is the fit for the devices. Before this I was using the TwelveSouth Book Arc and it provided different inserts to make sure there was a snug fit for the device. The Satechi stand does more of a “lean” and in turn if you have a really thin device in the main slot, it feels a bit “meh” to interact with.

Final Thoughts & Cost

Simply put, if you have two devices on your desk and want to free up some space, snag this! At $39 on the Satechi site, it’s not a massive investment especially given its build quality. If you are really interested on if it will truly “fit” your devices the link above provides a compatibility list.

Like I said, nice and short for this one.
